Origin Story:  

Sanjivani Hospital, a multi-specialty facility with 200 beds, is constructed in an under-served rural area of Andhra Pradesh, India. This region suffers from inadequate access to well-equipped health facilities despite high prevalence of diseases such as malaria, typhoid, diabetes, and cardiac issues, as well as alarming infant mortality rates.Sanjivani Hospital's mission is to address these critical health challenges by providing high-quality healthcare services on a not-for-profit basis. Its goal is to serve and support the rural Indian community by offering essential medical care and contributing to improving overall health outcomes in the region.
Our Mission:

Sanjivani Hospital aims to serve and support this part of rural Indian community by providing quality healthcare in a not-for-profit mode.

Future Youth leaders  for humanity,San Diego non-profit  is aimed towards providing financial support to hospitals that serve underprivileged societies, by promoting Indian cultural heritage within the local community, This kind of initiative is crucial for preserving cultural identity and supporting essential healthcare services.

Food Carnival

Youth leaders pre-cooked dishes of high demand among children and sold them to raise funds.

USS MIDWAY Service

Our youth leaders were aboard the USS Midway and helped tidy the decks, organize neccessary paperwork, and tasks their captain assigned to them. It was a rewarding experience, and many got to experience the Midway for the first time!

Summer Camps

Youth leaders conducted classes revolving around various interests of their own such science fair project mentorship, coding classes, art camps, tennis workshops, etc.

Kids Cultural Workshops

Youth leaders conducted various cultural workshops such as the Ganesh Chaturthi-centered idol-making, Diwali-based diya (candle)-painting workshop, etc.

Saplings Sale

Many of our youth leaders are passionate about gardening! Saplings they had previously grown and acquired were sold at this fundraiser.

Festival Baskets Sale

Homemade festival baskets prepared by our youth leaders were sold to commemorate the Indian festive season!

EarthLab Climate Action Park is a nature space used daily by elementary, middle, and high school students to learn about the environment and have a safe, inspiring place to complete STEM educational experiences. EarthLab hosts monthly activities for the community to learn about the environment and celebrate student achievements. Come to the EarthLab Climate Action Park to learn about native and water wise plants and how to care and maintain them. Volunteers will work with knowledgeable docents in one of the garden areas to prune and care for the various plants and trees, maintain paths for student and community activities; prepare areas for planting, remove invasive plant species, and participate in specific site projects.

San Diego FYLH partnered with a local nonprofit, Stigma which seeks to raise awareness for stigmatized neurological disorders, in order to raise funds for the research of ME/CFS, a disorder characterized by debilitating fatigue.
