Our youth leaders were aboard the USS Midway and helped tidy the decks, organize neccessary paperwork, and tasks their captain assigned to them. It was a rewarding experience, and many got to experience the Midway for the first time!

San Diego FYLH partnered with a local nonprofit, Stigma which seeks to raise awareness for stigmatized neurological disorders, in order to raise funds for the research of ME/CFS, a disorder characterized by debilitating fatigue.
Youth leaders volunteered to work at Father Joe's Villages to cook and serve meals to underprivileged San Diegans.
Youth Leaders stepped up to serve the senior citizens of our community! They were tasked with assisting daily chores, reading aloud books, playing games with the seniors, etc.
Rakhis (a Indian armband/bracelet wrote to commemorate sibling relationships) and sweets were packed and sold by youth leaders, for the Indian festival of Rakhi Bandan.

WMS School hosts Telugu manabadi classes where younger kids attend the classes.Ouy FYLH Youth leaders hosted a grand Chat sale at the venue.All the kids enjoyed the super delicious chat made by YL's & supported our noble cause.
