Hello, my name is Srikar Punnamaraju. I’m currently a freshman in high school, and I volunteer for the San Diego chapter of FYLH. When I first heard about the organization, I became interested and decided to join to see where it could take me. I learnt about the organization’s goal of providing healthcare to many villages in rural Andhra Pradesh, including the ancient village of Kuchipudi. Learning about the ways that the funds from FYLH benefit and support the people in these underprivileged areas inspired me to not just think about how it could benefit me, but how I could make a change in someone’s life. I really enjoy volunteering with my chapter, and I plan to continue staying with the team for a long time.
