Hello, my name is Nishka Reddy and I am currently a freshman volunteering in the San Diego FYLH chapter. I think the cause which we are volunteering for is very deserving, as we are helping those in need and allowing babies to be born more safely. The events are also very fun and provide a lot of opportunities to lead and learn. I enjoyed the Sankranthi kite-making event because it helped enhance my planning and leadership skills. Even though it was raining, we still had a lot of people come and had a lot of fun teaching the little kids how to make kites. We saw many unique designs, and I think this event was a very valuable experience. I like partaking in FYLH fundraisers and events a lot, both because they are enjoyable and provide money for a good cause, and I am looking forward to many more years of being in FYLH.
